Outventure – Igludorf – outdoor/extreme Photography assignment in Lucerne

I simply Love every single second of my photographer  life.

Here I am in Switzerland working for Igludorf and Outventure shooting the new Images  and Videos for Promotion purposes. I already had the chance to be collaborate with Igludorf during the making of the biggest Igloo on Earth. This Time we had to photograph and Promote: Bungee Jumping, Caving, Igloo inflatable lounges, rope and adventure park and  Landscapes around Mount Pilatus.

We set the timetable around the weather forecast and spent around 6 days Shooting and recording videos at the same time. The task was demanding since I had to think as a photographer and simultaneously imagine the editing  of a short video. Sometimes I ended up hanging from 140m on a single rope or waking up at 3am to climb to the top of a mountain before the sun would come out, nevertheless It was a overall great and unforgettable experience.

The concept was to tell the story of these activities through a new point of view. Photos that would catch the attention of the view and make them feel there, jumping, having fun, relaxing, exploring.

The videos needed to be edited on the same week and we though of having a fast, emotional and attractive footage which would evoque the idea of being there. It needed to be “social” therefore quick, funny, direct to the point.

Semplicemente adoro ogni istante del  mio lavoro da fotografo.

Ho svolto questo progetto in Svizzera lavorando per Igludorf e Outventure, fotografando e riprendendo le nuove immagini e video promozionali di queste due aziende.

Ho già avuto la possibilità di collaborare con Igludorf durante la realizzazione del più grande igloo sulla Terra. Questa volta dovevamo fotografare e promuovere altre attività tra cui: Bungee Jumping, Speleologia, Igloo gonfiabili, parchi avventura e paesaggi intorno al Monte Pilatus.

Abbiamo impostato il calendario intorno alle previsioni del tempo e trascorso circa 6 giorni riprendendo e fotografando. Il compito è stato impegnativo dal momento che ho dovuto pensare come fotografo e al tempo stesso immaginare la realizzazione di 2 un brevi video.

Ho fotografato a 140m su una corda singola sospeso nel vuoto o scalato una montagna alle 3 del mattino per salire fino alla cima prima che il sole avesse irradiato le vette ed è stato tutto assolutamente spettacolare!  Una’esperienza indimenticabile.

L’idea era quella di raccontare la storia di queste attività attraverso un nuovo punto di vista. Foto che catturassero l’attenzione dell’utente e farlo sentire lì.

I video dovevano essere montati la stessa settimana, il concept doveva essere un filmato veloce, emotivo e attraente che evocasse l’idea e il desiderio di essere li. Doveva essere “social” quindi veloce, divertente e diretto.
